What Information do we collect upon payment?

This policy covers how we use your personal information. We take your privacy SERIOUSLY and will take all measures to protect your personal information.

What Information Do We Collect?

We only collect information that we need that is related to your order. This includes your:

Billing Address
Shipping Address
Full Name
Email Address
Credit Card Information

In addition we also collect information on your IP address, browser type, and Refer URL data. We use this data to prevent hacking attempts, help us know what web browsers people are using, and find out where our visitors are coming from so that we can improve our marketing.

How Is My Information Used? Your information is only used to fill your order. We do not sell or redistribute your information to ANYONE.

Security and Storage Only your order data billing, shipping, and order contents data is stored on our server. This information is encrypted using a Secure Sockets Layer before it is transmitted over a web server. We do not store your Credit Card data.

Cookies and Browser Information Cookies are small files that reside on your computer and allow us to recognize you on your next visit or store your shopping cart contents. We use them only to track this information.

 

Where are you located?

We are in the College Park Area near West Stubbs. Exact address always given out upon final payment or receiving your order.

How do you accept payment?

Accepted Methods of Payment Credit Card (Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover) or Paypal. We do NOT accept cash app, venmo, or zelle. Your credit card will be charged when you place your order.

What is you turn around for Shipping?

Orders must be in by 12:00pm EST on Monday to ship the same week. We ship from our kitchen on Tuesdays and Wednesdays to ensure freshness. If you place your order after 12:00 pm EST on Monday, your order will be released on the next possible ship date the following week. If you need these items by a specific date, we recommend placing your order at least 2 weeks in advance to ensure they get there in time. Most items can be customized to fit your event or special occasion. Do you offer allergen free products?

Yes, Kina's Sweet Treats offers Vegan, Vegan/ Gluten free, Sugar free, and Nut free products. Please note that Kina's Sweet Treats is NOT a dairy, gluten, or nut free bakery, and we bake with a high volume of those ingredients on the premises. Although we are incredibly careful when it comes to cross contamination, we strongly caution individuals with dairy, gluten, or other food allergies when purchasing our desserts. BEFORE placing your order, please inform us if anyone in your party has a food allergy.

What ingredients do you use in your vegan/gf cake and cupcakes?

Our vegan cake ingredients are pure vanilla extract, salt, baking soda, almond milk, vegetable oil, white vinegar, all-purpose flour, pure cane bone char fee sugar, and salt. All our vegan cakes are made with our fluffy vegan buttercream using country crock plant based butter and pure cane bone char free powdered sugar. Our cakes and buttercreams that require coloring are colored with colour mills colouring. All our gluten free/ vegan flavors are made with king Arthur gluten free flour.

What ingredients do you use in your vegan cheesecake?

Our vegan cheesecake ingredients are coconut milk, vegan cream cheese, coconut oil, pure cane sugar, chocolate or vanilla oreos, pure vanilla, cashews, and country crocker plant based butter.

Do you offer delivery?

Delivery is for Atlanta and surrounding areas. (Contact us to see if we deliver to you if you are outside of the delivery area). Delivery fees for all online orders range from $10-$40 and there is a minimum order of $50 for all deliveries. Custom Cake delivery fees start at $30 and must be requested when initially ordering.

Can I pick up my order?

Picking up your order/cake is a great way to save money. If you choose to pick up your cake you should make sure that you have a clean flat surface to set cake on while driving. The floor of any car or truck is the best place to place your cake. No one should be holding your cake, your cake should not be in the trunk, and your cake should not be in the seat of your vehicle. While driving, please refrain from speeding, sudden stops, or sharp turns. Once you leave with the cake it is no longer the responsibility of Kina's Sweet Treats. Once you leave with the cake, no refunds are given, and no changes can be made.

Pick up times are scheduled. We will provide you with our availability for your pickup day and we will need your time. Once your pickup time is given you will be scheduled to pick up at that time. Failure to arrive on time will result in you potentially not getting your cake on your date needed, picking up upon our next availability, or additional fees.

How do I order?

What if I have a issue with my order?

Any refund given for disputes regarding a cake/dessert design is completely at the discretion of Kina's Sweet Treats and are never automatic. All items delivered or picked up will be shown to the customer, who then has the opportunity to discuss any quibbles with us immediately. Full refunds will never be given for any order and Kina's Sweet Treats will retain a minimum of 35% of the price of the order to cover costs incurred to initiate your order should any disputes arise. Leaving with your order or consumption of it is viewed as the customer’s acceptance that the order is suitable for the purpose which it has been supplied. Once you leave with your order, no refunds are given, and no changes can be made.

What if I can't pick up my order on the scheduled date?

If you cannot pick up you order on time or on the date scheduled, please give us a call to let us know. All our desserts are made to order and are prepared based off the time and date the customer has agreed to pick up. If the customer fails to pick up their order on time as scheduled, due to the perishable nature of our creations, aging may occur, and we will not be held responsible for that. If the customer would still like to pick their order, they can but we will not re make anything unless the customer pays for it. After 48 hours, if we have not heard back from you, you forgo your order.

Do you offer nationwide shipping?

What is your refund policy?

All orders placed through our online store are final and no refund will be given. Kina's Sweet Treats can not be held responsible if the customer does not read all given information before placing their order. In the event of a mix up with your order, at the discretion of Kina's Sweet Treats, a credit may be given to you. All credits must be redeemed within a year before expiring.

Can I get a sample before placing a order?

We do not provide free samples however if you’d like to sample/ taste a cake flavor before purchasing your custom cake, here are a couple options for you:

- a tasting box; there will be 3 cake flavors, 3 filling flavors, and 3 buttercream flavors and this includes delivery to the Atlanta area. Shipping available.

- or you can purchase anything off of our DAILY MENU 

What is the difference between a Classic cake and Custom Cake?

Classic cakes can be purchased right on the website. They are perfect for sweet tooths, last minute birthday cakes, parties, or the holidays! All classic cake menu flavors and their product descriptions are listed below. We offer 3 different sizes for our classic cakes, 4", 6", & 8" and they are all 3 layer one tiered cakes. Classic cakes come pictured AS IS and they get a complimentary Happy Birthday Topper if being used for Birthdays. If you would like classic cakes to be customized, inside, or out, in any way it will be considered a custom cake and will be priced differently.

Custom cakes are completely customized to your needs! It is best to fill out a inquiry form on our Contact page to get a quote for the cake you are wanting. We will provide a quote based off the information you provide and go from there. Deposit required for all orders placed more than a week out from date needed. Deposits will reserve your order date, goes towards the overall cost of your order, and are nonrefundable. It must be paid within 48 hours after receiving it or it will be cancelled, and your date will not be reserved. Remaining amount will be due 1 week. Priority will go to the paying customer. If you place your order less than a week out, full amount is due upon inquiry to reserve your date. Rush fees will apply.

What are pick up times?

Pick up availability is Monday- Friday between 12:00pm-6:00pm and Saturday & Sunday 9am-4 pm. A confirmation email will be sent after your payment/ order has been received, then we will confirm your pick up time. Pickup and delivery is always scheduled because of the sensitivity of the product, so you will not be able to pick up without providing a pick up time.
